Why PS5 HDMI ports break
The HDMI port is soldered straight onto the PS5 motherboard. When a cable is yanked or the console is moved while plugged in, the port can crack or its pins can bend, and the screen shows no signal. Replacing the port restores video without touching your games or saves.
Micro soldering, done carefully
